Where Can I Get an RTA Learning Permit?

For those seeking driving licenses in the UAE, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will need to administer an RTA theoretical test. You can only receive a driving license after receiving a learning permit, and it will allow you to operate vehicles. To receive a learning permit, you need to be registered at an authorized driving school and ready to undergo the necessary regulations to obtain your driving test. 

You can apply for an RTA learner permit at the Excellence Driving Centre. Your learning permit can be renewed by submitting an application through the driving school or an authorized location. Residents, citizens, and individual customers are all eligible to apply for the renewal of their RTA learning permit. 

• The learning permit must be renewed and a service fee of 100 AED must be paid. Motorcycles, light trucks, cars, and other types of vehicles are among these. 
• The service charge for heavy buses, heavy machinery, light buses, and other vehicles is AED 200.
• AED 20 is charged for Knowledge and Innovation fees.

The processing time for renewing the learner's permit will be 5 to 10 minutes.

The owner of a learning license must turn in the required paperwork and pay the required fees. Electronic permits and receipts will be sent to the applicant's registered email address. Additionally, an SMS will be delivered to the provided phone number. Along with the receipt, a link will be supplied for downloading the driver's license. 

The validity of a renewed driver's license is three months from the date of issuance. 

According to federal traffic law, if the road test is not taken within six months of the permit's issuance, the driver must reapply for the license and provide all the required paperwork.
